How do I become an in-house entrepreneur?
Fill out our form at the bottom of this page with details of your idea/project, and intended application area and we will arrange your visit to JMoon MakerSpace to know more about the idea, discuss if your idea/prototype needs to be further improved, what needs to be done to turn it into a startup, and take you through the complete step-by-step process of incubation.
At what stage should I apply?
To apply for the incubation your idea needs to be at one of these phases:
1. Have an idea, but not completely sure if its worth pursuing it full time.
2. Have an idea, and are already working on the prototype/ proof of concept.
3. Prototype/Proof of Concept is ready and want to gauge public response to the idea.
The stage you are at will help us determine the incubation time you’ll need and make other related decisions.
What does the makerspace get in return?
The entrepreneurs give away a small portion of their company’s equity (up to 10%) and/or share their skills and knowledge with the maker community through workshops and classes. This decision is taken by the entrepreneur and the core management team of the our company during a 1-on-1 meeting, once the startup’s idea is selected.
Do you invest in startups?
Our founders may choose to invest in the startups at the seed stage, or help you reach out to angel investors in the startup ecosystems of India, Silicon Valley, or Canada who may be better suited for your Seed and Series-A round of funding.
